Rev. Dan Currie
Dan is Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Hastings, Michigan, where he has pastored since 1999.  Prior to that, Dan served as Senior Pastor at two other churches (New Jersey and Michigan) and as Youth Pastor at a third church (Michigan).  Prior to receiving God's call to preach, Dan taught high school for three years in Denver, Colorado.

A native of Michigan, Dan and his wife, Patty, have been blessed with four children (now adults) all of whom are faithfully serving the Lord in their local churches.

Dan graduated from Bob Jones University in 1973 and later completed a Masters of Divinity from the Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in 1982.

Dan brings to the Board of IBL over 25 years experience in the pastorate and a heart's passion for building in the lives of others. We are extremely grateful for the leading of God in Dan's life to join the IBL leadership team and bless us with the wisdom that comes from his experience, his gifts, and his talents.
Mr. Dan DiDonato, Chairman
Dan is presently Executive Vice-President of Shepherds Ministries where he has served since 2001. Prior to beginning his ministry with Shepherds, Dan served as Vice-President for Public Relations and Stewardship with Bible Centered Ministries-International, and as Executive Director of Underwood-Memorial Hospital Foundation in Woodbury, NJ.

Dan faithfully serves IBL as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and as Director for Fund Development. Dan brings to IBL 25 years of experience in a variety of fund development responsibilities for institutions and agencies. We are deeply grateful for Dan's willingness to share the wisdom God has given him. We are blessed for it.

Dan and his wife, Jeannette, are also very active in the ministries of their local church. They have three lovely (adult) daughters to whom they are devoted.

Rev. Larry Fetzer
Larry has long been associated with IBL.  He served as the Chairman of the founding board and helped Russ give birth to the ministry.  At the time Larry was Senior Pastor of Russ' home church, Washington Heights Baptist, in Kettering, OH.

Larry has served in pastoral and church leadership for more than thirty-five years.  Twenty-three of those years were as Senior Pastor.  In addition to serving on the board of IBL, Larry has also served on the boards of Cedarville University and the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism.

Larry is currently retired from the pastorate, but he continues to teach and preach the Word and counsel with pastors.  Larry and his wife, Marion, reside in Cresaptown, MD.

Dr. Russell F. Lloyd, Ph.D.
Russ is Founder and President of IBL. He is a retired officer in the United States Air Force with extensive experience in leadership, biblical counseling, and organizational consultation. In addition to his ministry, through IBL, Russ continues to serve as a consultant to leadership in both the public and private sectors.

What is on Russ' heart is to come alongside of the leadership in ministry and assist them to become more effective for the cause of Christ. What is even more on his heart is his wife, Doris, who ministers with him, and their three adult children; Kim, Jen and Brad.

Dr. James McWhirter, Ph.D.
Jim is Sr. Director of Laser Programs at Ultratech Inc., a semiconductor process equipment company located in the Silicon Valley (San Jose, California).   Jim heads a development team with responsibility for technology and product development related to Ultratech's "Laser Spike Annealing (LSA)" product line, which is used in semiconductor device fabrication.  Prior to this, he held similar responsibilities at KLA-Tencor Inc., and before beginning his industrial career, Jim was a college professor (Associate Professor of Physics, Union College, Schenectady NY). 
 
Jim and his wife, Carol, have five children - two are married (Daniel, Elizabeth Anne), one is in college (Ruth Ellen), and two are at home (Jimmy, Richard).   All five children have been home schooled.   The McWhirters are a musical family with a love of the outdoors.   Jim has served in a wide variety of church leadership roles including church and school finance committee, adult teacher, deacon, and worship leader.  Jim and Carol are currently serving as leader/mentors in a young married couples class at their home church in Los Gatos, Ca.
Dr. Paul Simms, Ph.D.
Paul is retired from Purdue University where he served as  Full Professor of Physics and Director of the Nuclear Accelerator Laboratory. He conducted research in nuclear physics for well over 40 years while at Purdue, and in a prior assignment at Columbia University.

Paul and his wife, Shirley, have two adult children and three lovely grandchildren. In addition to devotion to their family, they remain very active in several campus ministries and their local church. Paul's special interests are evangelism, apologetics, overseas missions, and the harmony between Christianity and science.

We thank God for the vast experience and corresponding wisdom Paul brings to the board of IBL. Dr. Simms was a member of the founding IBL Board and has served IBL faithfully for all of its history. We are deeply grateful to God for leading Paul to give of himself to this ministry. We are blessed for having him part of the Team.

Rev. Dave Southwell
Dave currently serves as Missionary Administrator to Brazil for the Association of Baptist for World Evangelism (ABWE).  Dave has served with ABWE in various capacities since 1975, including serving as a church planting missionary in Brazil and Portugal for almost twenty years.

As a long time missionary, Dave provides unique insight into the leadership challenges faced by missionaries on foreign fields.

Dave received his Masters of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN.  He and his wife, Evelyn, have been married for thirty-seven years and have four grown children.

Rev. Joel Tetreau
Joel
is currently the Senior Pastor of Southeast Valley Baptist Church in Gilbert, AZ, a rapidly growing suburb of Phoenix. He has served as SEVBC's Senior Pastor since its founding in 1999.  Prior to that, he served as Senior Pastor for several years in northern Minnesota.  Joel is also an adjunct faculty member at International Baptist College in Phoenix and is Co-director of the SW Romania Missions Project.  Joel received his Doctorate of Ministry in 2004 from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis.

Joel and his wife, Toni, have been married since 1991.  They have been blessed with three sons:  Jeremy, Joshua, and Jonathan.

Joel has been around church and ministry leaders his entire life;  his father being the Founder and President of International Baptist College in Phoenix.   Through Joel's life-long experiences with leadership, God has burdened Joel with a deep desire to equip and exhort God's leaders for the ministries to which they have been called.  We are thankful to have Joel on our leadership Team.

Mr. Kevin Whitehead, Vice Chairman
Kevin is the Director of Broker-Dealer Relations for the Financial Services Institute (FSI) in Atlanta, Georgia. He is responsible for FSI's relationships with independent securities broker-dealer firms across the country. Previously, he served as the Director of National Accounts for Enterprise Fund Distributors, Inc., an AXA Financial company. He also served Enterprise as Director of College Planning and Director of Marketing.

Kevin is an active member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia, where he serves as a small group leader. His interests include theology, science, classic literature, fitness, films and music. He and his wife, Kelly, have three young sons, whom Kelly homeschools.
