We are passionate about strengthening and serving ministry leaders who plant and grow churches around the world. This has been our driving burden since our founding in 1988 by Dr. Russell Lloyd.

Since then, we have ministered alongside God’s leaders in churches, mission organizations, and para-church ministries throughout the world: in Europe, South America, Australia, Africa, the Philippines, Haiti, Vietnam, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Canada, the United States, and elsewhere.

Today, the church in America struggles with stagnation and decline.  The signs of struggle are everywhere.  We are burdened to support God's leaders in American churches as they seek to rise to the challenges before them.  In other parts of the world there is an enormous need for properly trained national church leaders.  IBL is meeting this need in southeast Asia.

Like the Apostle Paul in the early church (Acts 20:31), IBL serves
side by side with God’s appointed leaders; exhorting, encouraging and equipping them for the ministries to which they are called.

IBL is founded on the principle that the Word of God is all-sufficient for life and practice. Our ministry involves the consistent, faithful application of God’s Word to the challenges faced by God’s leaders.
