“to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority”
— Jude 25
our beliefs
The verbally inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant and all-sufficient Word of God is the sole source-book for life and practice. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:21)
There is one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:1; John 10:30, 10:37-38)
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, performed miracles, shed His blood on the cross in a vicarious and atoning death, rose bodily on the third day, acsended to the right hand of the Father, and will return bodily in power and glory. (Isa 7:14; Mat 1:23; Luke 1:35; Heb 4:14, 7:25, 9:12; Col 1:14; John 11:25; Acts 1:11; Rev 19:11-16)
Man is sinful by nature. He is regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith alone (not by man’s work). (Rom 3:19,23; John 3:16-19, 5:24; Eph 2:8-10; Titus 3:5-6)
The Holy Spirit has a continuing ministry in the indwelt Christian, enabling him to live a godly life. (Gal 5:25; Eph 4:30; 1 Cor 3:16-17, 6:19-20)
Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected: those who are saved to eternal life, and those who are lost to eternal damnation. (John 5:28-29)
Believers are spiritually united in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17; Rom 8:9; 1 Cor 12:12-13; Gal 3:26-28)
Man was created by the direct act of God. (Gen 1:26-28, 5:1-2)
our values
Scripture The Word of God is our sole source book. (2 Pet 1:3)
Honor God We desire to honor God in all we do and say. (Rev 4:11)
Integrity We are committed to the highest standards of integrity in all we do. It is our desire that our personal conduct will bring honor to God as we live out our message personally and corporately, alone and before others. (1 Pet 1:16)
Make A Difference By the grace of God, we will make a difference in the lives of God’s servants and in the effectiveness of the ministries He has called into existence. (Heb 12:1)
Leadership The men and women God calls to positions of influence are pivotal instruments in His hand. How they guide God’s people in responding to the inevitable challenges facing ministry profoundly impacts the effectiveness of that ministry. No other factor is more singularly powerful. (1 Pet 5:1-4)
The Church The local church is the bride of Christ whom he loves and for whom He will one day return. We therefore commit ourselves to sacrificial service to His bride. (Eph 5:25-27)
People In both urban centers and in villages and hamlets around the globe, the souls of God’s human creation are most valued. We thus value that which He values. (John 10:3-4)
No Fee We do not charge a fee for the ministry God allows us to have. The financial ability to pay a fee is not a factor in determining God’s desire for IBL to minister to an individual or an organization. We trust the Creator of the universe to meet our every need. (Prov 3:5-6)
