Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom.
— Colossians 3:16

Exhorting Leaders

Men and women in positions of ministry leadership are often put on a pedestal by those they lead. Therefore, leaders often have no place to turn when they struggle with the issues of life and ministry or are confronted with the fiery darts of the Evil One.

We provide confidential biblical counsel for men, women and couples in positions of leadership. Leaders often face periods of significant personal struggle. It is during these challenging times that God can use counsel from His Word to great effect.

We use the Bible to provide direction and encouragement regarding...

Unbiblical thinking

Moral issues

Broken Relationships

Those receiving counsel at IBL enter into an extensive, three-phase process of preliminary preparation, a week of in-residence counseling, and follow-up counseling and accountability over an extended period of time. The in-residence phase of counseling occurs at our Western North Carolina location, providing a secluded environment, singular focus, and sufficient time for an intense study of God’s Word as it relates to the specific areas of need.

The Counseling Process

1. Preliminary Preparation
2. In-Residence Counseling
3. Follow-Up Counseling & Accountability

IBL has a strict policy of confidentiality with respect to its counseling ministry and does not publish any identifying pictures, summaries, or testimonials unless explicit permission is given by the counselees.

Individuals and couples considering coming to IBL for counseling are required to enter into a covenant with us, so that our commitments to and expectations of one another are clear. The covenant is available here for your review.
